Reel Lives Film Festival Mission

The Reel Lives: The Cancer Chronicles Film Festival mission is to honour those whose lives have been impacted by cancer and increase awareness of the continuing impact of this disease as a global health issue. The festival seeks to shatter taboos and myths surrounding the disease (from research to personal accounts), educate and enlighten people around the world, bridge cultural divides, and help unite the global cancer community.

The film festival is an opportunity for people who have been touched by cancer to tell their story through the medium of film. Reel Lives: The Cancer Chronicles Film Festival allows their voice to be heard. The awards will celebrate films that are thought provoking, educational and inspirational.
